Club Member, Al Moore is founder of Gritstone Strategy, a strategic communications and reputation management advisory firm. Al will be discussing “Crisis Communications: Staying Clear, Calm and Credible”.

Reputation matters most when an organisation is under pressure. The way leaders respond, communicate and make decisions can either protect trust or quickly damage it. Using real-life crisis examples, Al will explore what good crisis communication looks like, share practical lessons for challenging situations and explain how organisations can protect and strengthen their reputation over the long term.

Al Moore has more than 20 years’ experience advising SMEs, family businesses, FTSE and Nasdaq-listed companies. His career spans global consultancy, a special advisor to the Conservative Party and senior leadership roles at Pfizer and Gilead Sciences.

His expertise includes crisis communications, media relations, political and stakeholder engagement/campaigns, opinion polling, investor communications and employee engagement. Al helps leaders cut through complexity, understand how issues will be seen by the people who matter, and decide what to say, when and by whom; protecting reputation, shaping opinion and supporting commercial goals.
