President's Dinner. Sold Out

This event  has now sold out. 

The long-standing tradition of the President’s Dinner returns to The Harrogate Club on Saturday 18 October 2025 – an evening of good food, fine wine, and great company.

Guest Chef Yves Quemerais of French Chef at Home will be preparing a seasonal three-course menu, with expertly paired wines selected by Patrice Lipatti-Mesme.

Adding to the evening’s sense of occasion, our guest speaker will be Peter McCormick OBE, Executive Vice Chairman of Leeds United Football Club and past Chairman of the Premier League.

The evening will begin with a champagne reception accompanied by live music.

We expect this event to be popular, so booking is open exclusively to Members and Associates in the first instance.

Dress Code: Black Tie
Tickets: £85.00 per person – includes champagne reception, canapés, and a three-course dinner with paired wines, followed by tea, coffee and mints, served in the Reading Room.
Time: 6.15pm. Champagne reception accompanied by live music. Guests will move through to the Malcolm Neesam Room at 7.00pm for dinner.

President’s Dinner Menu

Starter

• Fresh and smoked salmon terrine, watercress, cucumber pickles, and dill mayonnaise
• Semi-cooked beef tartare with charcoal oil, yolk cured, sourdough toast, mixed leaves
• Fresh figs stuffed with Harrogate blue mousse, gingerbread croutons, rocket, hazelnut dressing (v)

Main course

• Lemon sole and crayfish ballotine, baby vegetables, white wine and parsley cream
• Slow-cooked lamb shank, baby vegetables, Madeira sauce
• Butternut and tarragon fan, smoked chestnut coulis, confit butternut, Emmental tuile (v)

Dessert

• Pear poached in mulled wine, vanilla crème brulée, nougatine tuile
